Re: Image Comics

yeah, i get the difference between Savage Dragon and Spawn - mainly the comparison was against Youngblood and both of those. i honestly didn't even know YB was still around in any capacity.

Re: Image Comics

man, in my mind's eye Youngblood just looks like AI slop that was trained exclusively on X-Men and X-Force comics before AI was even a thing.

and to get to just #100 in 2026... just for reference, i checked out Savage Dragon and it's on issue #280, Spawn is on #377. that's hilarious.

Re: Battlestar Galactica

so Katee Sackhoff has been doing a weekly "Battlestar React-ica" watch party with her husband on her youtube channel (they were calling it a "rewatch" except neither of them had ever really watched the entire thing). they recently just started season 2 and have already had specia...

Re: Happy Father's Day!

well, any day where i'm not expected to do all of the things i'm usually expected to do (or expected to do anything ) is welcome. except for taking care of the chickens - still have to do that because we have two roosters and both my daughter and wife are afraid of them. happy father's day anyway, e...

this is why we can't have nice things.

Re: What have you watched lately?

Mercy. Chris Pratt has a mere 90 minutes to convince an AI Judge/Jury/Executioner that he didn’t kill his wife. 90 minutes is such a stupid arbitrary short time to mount an investigation and defense that the rest of the movie is stupider for it. Without it, it might’ve been a semi-interesting murde...

Also, why does he call himself Cable? Like, what’s the in-continuity reason he pulled that basic bitch name out of a hat... i swear to god, it has to have something to do with the George Washington Bridge connecting Harlem to northern New Jersey - Liefeld heard some news report about a Cable being ...

Re: Netflix Original Series

Just started watching The Man in the High Castle. It was originally on Amazon from 2015-2019, but it’s streaming on Netflix now. not just "originally on Amazon" - wasn't it "an Amazon Original"??? the streaming wars are almost as confusing as the Iran war excursion. this is basi...

Re: MCU Topic

Wonder Man was awesome. the chemistry between Abdul-Mateen and Ben Kingsley was soooo good. i love that Trevor Slattery keeps coming up in the MCU despite being a red herring Mandarin.

meanwhile, this looks promising too. i know it's not MCU, but whatever.
