Favicons?

computers are cool - they are the reason you are here right now! Hopefully, JJReason can build one and prove once and for all, Canadians are somewhat intelligent.

Favicons?

Post by anarky »

Is there an easy way (using just PhotoShop, ImageReady, Illustrator, or any combination of the above) to create a favicon (I think that's the term) for a website?

I've searched around, but for some reason, I can only find answers when I don't have questions. [crazed]

nah, you don't need to do that... if you've got photoshop, there's a plugin...

http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/

just install the plugin, and follow the directions here:

http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutoria ... vicon.html

that's how i created the yin-yang for this site, the spider for WCW and the unicorn head at http://www.RIMS.org. i guarantee it comes out better than that web-based output...
