Anybody get NYX? I really dig Middleton's art. It almost reminds of cel animation dropped on the page.

I saw the one page ad for the book. Very cool looking, like it fits in with that "Trouble" book or something. What's that all about, anyway?

Which? NYX? Or Trouble? Trouble is about teen sex, infidelity, pregnancy, etc. The characters are named Richard, Mary, Ben, and May, but I doubt they have anything to do with PeterParker's parents, aunt, and uncle. Supposedly the covers tittilate, but it's just a chick blowing bubble gum. Not at all as tittilating as finding a FFM three way between a teacher and two hot co-eds on the internet.

I'm just saying...

Holy shit!!! Or as Ben Grimm would say SWEET AUNT PETUNIA!!! Morrison is going out with a bang! That has got be one of the best cliffhanger endings ever. It would have been even cooler if ya didn't know Marvel's golden calf wouldn't be coming back next issue. Seriously, noone can ever take a Wolvie death scene seriously, even if it one as grand as that. ( The Jean Grey shivving was pretty spectacular, too!)

By the way, I'm talking about New X-Men...

okay, I don't know if they realize it, but marvel already has a 'devil/satan/beezlebub' character. His name's MEPHISTO. Now Azazel is a fairly cool new villain, but if they are thinking about making him the actual Satan he claims to be...well thats just dumb. The Sammy/Juggernaut side story is shaping up nicely, though. I'd actually be interested in an ongoing serial of these two on the lam. Seeing Cain kick Sammy's Dad's ass was awesome. And Alpha Flight is turning into a dickish govt. controlled villain team. Sweet. Alpha Flight are a bunch of damn wannabes. I can't believe I collected them all those years...

Emma Frost #4 had more in it than the previous three issues combined. A very solid story.

Emma Frost 4 is out? Holy crap, been awhile since I been to the comic store (not due to lack of interest, but lack of cash. Jodi's b-day).

I really liked #1 of that series, with any luck the other issues will still be there for me.

Back again for more post padding goodness. Finally hit the comic store, and have read my latest 3 X-books.

Uncanny - good, but Im more interested in the whole Cain sideplot than I am in Azazel at this point. I really liked the computer panels though. Cool.

New-X Im kind of baffled by the whole thing. What the hell's gonna happen now? It's maybe a little too weird to read New X and Uncanny and Wolverine all in one sitting - Logan's everywhere, all the time. 2 issues to go in this arc, I guess the "big surprise" will be at the end of the next one, leaving 150 to wrap it all up. The last couple of pages were just crazy.

Wolverine 6 - I'd recommend this book to those of you who like Wolvie and Kurt in the bar stories. It's one of those, and particularly well drawn and written. Try it out.

Checked out Wolverine: The End #1 and Wolverine #7. The guy who'd art EP didn't like so much on Hulk is back (Fernanadez) this time on Wolverine. Looks quite different from his Hulk work - a bit of a Manga tinge. Still continuing on basically with Logan on the road full time, but now he's being pursued by a Fed ATF agent that wants his hairy cock in as far as it will go.

The End of The End #1 seemed to fly in the face of what Grant Morrison did in Assault on Weapon Plus. How can Weapon X be everywhere, if it's just one Weapon? I'll keep reading, but I didn't really care that much about this book.

Wasn't "Weapon Prime" part of Magneto's scheme to whomp the X-Men into oblivion and take over New York City with Beak as his crony?

If Planet X isn't a dream, I'm expecting Jubilee to pop up and firework Magnus a new arsehole.

Jubilee can't since she's stuck with Wolvie ver 4.7 in some alternate reality with the Uncanny chaps.

So the new Wizard has a preview of the upcoming Silvestri issue on New X-men ( and by preview, I mean the ENTIRE issue) which is cool since it's Silvestri X-Men and that rocks. But it also reveals who dies "last" issue which doesn't come out until next month. AND when 151 DOES come out, I've already read it, so now technically i have to wait like 3 months to find out what happens next. DOH!

Of course, we all know it ain't Jubilee, since her death would spell doom for the very fabric of the Marvel Universe.

Shall be interesting. I'm now pretty much caught up, unless the new issues came out today. Still too much Wolverine running around, now not only is he stuck with Jubes in Uncanny, burnt to a crisp in New, and hanging around with a fox ATF agent in his own series - now he's galivanting around the New Mexico wilderness with that deaf Indian girl over in Daredevil. Man, his multitasking and time management skills are superb.

So, uh, no comments on that ending? Jean I saw coming. Wolvie lopping off Erik's head I did not.

Anyone notice the glaring sudden shift in art in Uncanny? (How could we not?) I hate when they do that mid-story. And call me nutty, but I could swear Jubilee must've brought along a spare costume.
