One of my friends saw on the news that Eddie Murphy is shooting a movie in Colorado and needed extras. I might've signed up a few years ago but I want absolutely no part of Norbit 2.

I guess maybe 10,000,000 people were desperate enough to see Eddie Murphy in his first live-action role since 1992 to not suck ass, and were sorely disappointed.

A movie like Norbit out grossing a movie like Sin City is proof that the terrorists have won.

I didn't know what Norbit was, so I had to look it up on imdb. Is there some law that mandates that Eddie Murphy has to play more than 1 role in every moive he appears in? From the description, this movie had no right to make $95M. Here is the user review:

Almost physically painful to watch.

Norbit isn't nearly as bad as The Adventures of Pluto Nash, but it's a hell of a lot worse than Beverly Hills Cop 3, which was awful! I could not stand all of the fat jokes, they were not like the jokes in the Nutty Professor, which were playful, if a little bit rude. These were just plain hateful. Don't get me wrong, I really like Eddie Murphy, and I was really hoping that he was going to dig himself out of the pit of below-average movies he's starred in lately. I missed Dream Girls, but I heard it was very good. Too bad he had to follow it up with this movie.

The plot is unoriginal, and the writing is very plain.

Wait for the DVD, get extremely drunk, and watch it then.

Then I went to Amazon and read some of those user reviews and it averaged 3 stars after 76 reviews. Yes, 16 people gave it 5 stars.

Anyway, I'm really losing my faith in humanity. Thanks.
