Sci Fi channel will change name, get rid of only good show
now that BSG's gone, Sci Fi channel will change their name to SyFy and show nothing that has any relation to science fiction in an effort to attract all the other TV watchers that don't dig sci-fi.

the question is... will the network still suck? and since BSG's over, will anyone give a frak?

I bet it'll be the #1 network on television now!

maybe they can start showing music videos. there's been a real void in that market for about a decade and a half now.

Sure, it'll be another thing to attract the retards too lazy to type the letters "Y" and "O" when typing the word "you."

So they change the name to something with the exact same pronunciation to distance themselves from sci-fi? The fuck? I haven't watched that channel aside from MST3K reruns on there years ago, so I guess it doesn't affect me so I don't care.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

far be it from me to complain about putting a 'y' or two where it doesn't normally belong, but seriously, phonetically it's not necessarily the same pronunciation. it reads as 'siffy'.
i should know. people called me 'vine' for a while. it's because of the 'sometimes y' thing. sometimes or not, it's ALWAYS going to be pronounced the opposite way you intend.

Will all the programming still be incredibly shitty pseudo-horror knockoffs of big budget Hollywood flicks, usually starring Kevin Sorbo? That's what I want to know.
So, let's see... that's History, Discovery, TLC, MTV, Cartoon Network, VH1, G4, The Weather Channel, Headline News, and now SciFi that will no longer be airing only programming that has anything to do with the name. In other words, the age of specialized programming is gone, and, soon, we'll have an entire dial (metaphorically speaking) of TBS SuperStations.

Re: Sci Fi channel will change name, get rid of only good show
I never watched the new BSG series. Actually the only thing I've watched on the Sci Fi channel over the past few years was that weird futuristic Wizard of Oz remake.
Sorry, haven't watched Dr. Who either. And to show you how much I know, I thought it was on BBC America.
Didn't that happen when the Sci-Fi channel started showing pro-wrestling?

It is also on BBC America. But Sci-Fi was getting the shows 3 weeks after they aired in England and show tons of re-runs on it. BBC America takes forever(like 4 months) to air the newer episodesRan wrote:I never watched the new BSG series. SyFy cancelled Eureka.
It's one of my few pleasures. I don't care if you guys think it's lame I like it and get a fuzzy glow from enjoying it. And now those fucktards went and cancelled it. Oh but there's an extra episode to wrap it all up. Meh. Whatevah.
I have never read any of your posts, but from what I can learn I should say that for people who like the kind of posts you deliver, they are just the kind of posts such people like.
