I never saw Wicket in stores, but a friend found one...and bought it for himself. He's not a must-have for me, but if I see him I'll buy him. I'm really looking forward to that Gammorean re-release. :bats:

Target has a bunch of their exclusives down to $17. I briefly considered getting the Han/Tauntaun/Hoth Troop set, but decided I didn't need it.

Good to know. I stopped by a Target this evening and saw nothing. Well, except from a half dozen dusty Arctic Destros, who have officially beaten out the Neimoidian Gunner at this point.

I got the black endor trooper today. I also saw the new TPM wave and the other figures in new packaging.

I decided to check out some of the toys I had in the garage today. My POTJ AT-ST is loose, but in the original box. I took it out and one of its feet are warped. Hopefully I can get it back into place over time. The only way I could get it to stand was to lean it against something. I forgot how much that thing slouches when it is standing. When you have it standing next to the big AT-AT, you realize it is kind of a crappy toy.

The upgraded ATST was, well, upgraded to say the least. It's really sturdy compared to the older ones.

Wasn't there supposed to be a Tusken Raider as part of the new TPM line? I can't seem to find any pictures of it.

There's a Tusken Raider in the Walmart exclusive "Discover the Force" subline, which is only now trickling into stores (both on the pegs and in a blue island display). This subline's packaging is almost identical to the Movie Heroes package (which is similar to The Clone Wars), but there are 3-D glasses on the side of the card.

As for the figure, it's a repack of the 2006 Vintage figure from The Saga Collection. It's not technically accurate to TPM, and some people don't like its swivel elbows, but I'll probably get one or two.

Cool. TPM accuracy doesn't bother me. The elbows were a little annoying, and I think I had some issues with the soft goods. Maybe I'll get one, depending on the price.

Out of curiosity, JJL, why would you buy it again if it's a straight repack? Isn't the old "Vintage" Tusken much nicer, and about the same cost?

It's not a matter of it being different, it's just that I want a few more for my displays. The figures look to be identical, and if they're roughly the same cost, well, it's easier to get this one when it's in the stores than to get another one online.

Today at WM I saw the Tusken Raider, a gray & yellow R5, 4 pack of R2-units, and a bunch of other TPM stuff. I considered getting them, but decided to wait.

The Toy Fair pictures didn't have much I'm interested in. If I remember correctly, it was the Royal Guard, Nien Numb, the Ewok, and a couple of Jabba's goons. I didn't see Wedge or Dr. Evazon. According to JJL's earlier post, they come out in April.

I saw about 15 of those R2 4-packs a couple days ago. When I went back today, they were all gone. But I think I already had all of them from the first time they were released back in 1999, so I didn't bother.

Oh, and I don't buy SW anymore. That was the other reason.

I saw some of the new stuff from the Wal-Mart exclusive line. No Mawhonic, who was the one I'm most interested in. I thought it was odd and a bit cheap-o how the glasses are part of the package.

I don't know when, how, or where this is coming out, but it is the greatest thing ever:

The Ewok with the gun, Kneesa, and Corpsey. Motherfucking Corpsey, with the name Corpsey. Fuck. Yes.

As anarky sadly pointed out, the Chukha-Trok that had been planned is not here. Hopefully he'll still make it out somehow.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.
