Finally was able to watch the trailer (they're showing the Monday night game again). It was admittedly better...but still seems like they're trying too hard. And I don't want to hear a single person exclaim about "practical effects" about this movie again. Every part of that trailer had extensive CG in it.

Meh. Everything I've seen refers to "we found a tweet" or "a few people". Do they try to get race in the news when there's no need? I don't buy this or believe it.

Yeah, that "outcry" is a tiny minority of rather pathetic people. Giving them attention is the worst thing the media could do.

So much for not giving them attention, the Daily Show just did a segment on it.

Tickets purchased for Dec 17 at 730pm. I guess I'm not that over it. :**(

We were going to wait, but I noticed the 7pm showing on the 17th near me is sold out. Nothing near me sells out, so we used a fandango gift card we had. 7:30 3D showing on the 17th. I was never over it, though.

I'm right with you. Only my excuse is that I'm going only because I want to see how excited Adam's kids are to be some of the first people to see the new movie.

I feel like I'm slacking, and I haven't been one of the ones pissing and moaning about it.

This is a scheme by Big Gay to get everyone in one place at the same time so they can take our guns and drop a gay bomb that will turn all of us into gaywads!!!

If I would've known you didn't have a ticket already I would've grabbed you one too. See if you can get one for the 7pm showing in Mount Pleasant at the Celebration theater.

I pissed off my wife this morning by making the comment, "So this guy with terminal cancer got to see Star Wars early. And thousands of other dying people whose last wish is to see Star Wars didn't get to."

She thinks I'm jealous because he got to see it early.

I honestly still don't know if I'm going to just wait for cable. The last two trailers have looked good... but Revenge of the Sith and Attack of the Clones look like fucking masterpieces if you only go by the trailers.
