Lando's from last year. I've never seen the damned thing. A Lando who's not only not a pegwarmer, but is fucking impossible to find--and packed with an impossible-to-find Jedi Luke, to boot!

Are those the ROTJ deleted scene figures? I saw only Lando once, but saw Luke a few times. The only Vintage carded figures on the pegs now are from the prequels and the occasional Han Solo.

Whenever I look at the SW figures it makes me sad. They look like shit, they're overpriced and I haven't been able to tell what's new in at least a year - they all look like the same shit I've been seeing forever.

And, besides, if they've been made, they'll be somewhere. Even if it's Marshalls next year. These guys aren't the last wave of a particular packaging style, which is the only time to truly worry.
Do you mean Sandstorm Lando? I actually have an extra one that I planned on returning, but never got around to it. But now it has your name on it, precious.
Nom Anor and Dr. Evazan are shipping in both case assortments of wave 4, so they theoretically should be at least statistically easier to find than some others, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for those as well (check Kmart for that wave, actually). Deleted scene Luke (originally from 2012 wave 2) is also shipping in the revised wave 4 case and the wave 5 case; I've seen a few times (today included). Do you want that one as well?

I played with the new Speeder Bike. I will be buying it. No question. I told the sculptor that letting people see it was a wise move, since I was convinced I didn't need a new one until I held it. (I also pointed out that, like the Falcon or AT-AT, it wouldn't be a big issue with space or spouses.)

Saw the pictures from Comic-Con. I'm happy with the amount of stuff coming out. I'm still looking for Wedge, Hoth Luke, and maybe Tarkin. Then the Royal Guard, Weequay, and I'm more interested in the exclusives. Right now, I plan on getting the TRU Ewok and Pilot sets, and possibly the K-Mart 2 packs and the speeder bike. And if/when the Target 3 packs make it to clearance, I'll pick them up.
2 questions about the upcoming ewoks (because those furry bastards confuse me):
Are both Ewoks in the K-Mart set new?
Looks like there were 2 carded Ewoks. Lumat and Logray. Are they new or re-releases?

Both Ewoks in the Kmart exclusive Ewok Scouts set are new figures - the bodies may or may not be reused from one of the post-2006 Ewok bodies, but it seems that the heads, hoods, weapons, and paint schemes are new. Hasbro took a stab at the AT-ST hijackers in the Target exclusive Battle of Endor ultimate battle pack back in 2007, reusing POTF2 Wicket and Logray molds, repainting them, and calling them "Wicket and Oochee." "Wicket" was definitely supposed to be Widdle, with the orange-ish fur and white cheeks. Oochee was black with a black hood, while Wunka is black with a green hood. These new figures look much more like the on-screen characters, and chances are most people here didn't get that old set anyway.
Logray was a new figure, first released in fall 2011 in the same wave as Bespin, Barriss Offee, etc. The entire wave was reissued this year on slightly different cards. If you got it last year, then you don't need to get him again this year. If you didn't get him last year, well, he's shipping right now and I've seen him a few times. These figures are spread out but mostly available with the Evazan wave, which is seemingly bypassing Target but has been seen at TRU, Walmart, and Kmart.
Lumat is a new figure, updated for the first time since the vintage version. He should be out within the next few months. (I've mentioned his name being retconned before, but given a recent Insider image and the new figure coming out, it looks like the character that was made as "Lumat" in the vintage line is, once again, named Lumat.)

Ok, cool. I guess I can skip Logray and get the rest.
Can't say any of the new Build-a-droids do anything for me, which is fine. I won't have to worry about buying figures I don't really want to build something I do. It seems like Porkins' droid look an awful lot like R5-D4.
Just out of curiosity, is Snaggletooth in that Target 3 pack a kit bash? Weather it is or not won't make me buy it at regular price.

I'm pretty sure he's at least partially new (the torso), since he has the hunchback.

Question for the sage: TC-70 appears where in EPII? And isn't FA-4 Dooku's droid pilot and a little oversized?
I flicked through the hasbro presentation and besides Jocasta Nu being an awesome inclusion lol the two BAD figures struck me as a bit odd.
If I had any money I'd be tempted to buy all these Ewoks and Endor vehicles but I don't have any money so hasbro can go hang.

Only place I'm aware of this TC guy is the (shitty) Clone Wars cartoon. Easy pass. And I don't want to buy six AOTC figures to get the pilot, so fuck this noise.

In the movie, the droid head behind Porkins in the cockpit is just a reuse of R5-D4. They named his droid R5-D8, and at some point someone decided that the body should look . . . almost exactly like R5-D4, except with some blue details traded for gray. Booooring.
Snaggletooth is completely, 100% new.
TC-70 is indeed from the (non-shitty ) Clone Wars series, most prominently from the movie. (As a TC-line droid, it has feminine programming, so it ain't no "he.") The build-a-droid releases in 2008-2010 didn't have any relation to the figures that built it, so I wouldn't expect these to, either - though the wave with realistic The Clone Wars Mace has his droid as one of the build-a-droids, so there might be some relation.
And yeah, FA-4 is Dooku's pilot droid. I think it might be a little big, but I want to see more comparison shots. Also, four of the figures from the wave of 12 are from the OT, so anarky, you might only have to buy a few AOTC figures for it.

I've only seen the movie twice but did take some screen shots at one point and I'm pretty sure Dooku's pilot should only be waist height. Its head is level with Dooku's when Dooku is sitting in the cockpit. So if Dooku was standing then waist height would be about right. Unless the version shown at SDCC is a 2up and the actual product will be smaller but Likely hasbro cocked up and it'll never get corrected.

The droid stands next to Dooku at around 5:11 in this video:
Here they are in the cockpit:
So I'd say he's a little taller than waist height, but not by much.
And then this very large picture from a Clone Wars book shows the droid as maybe being larger.
There aren't that many good photos that compare the droid figure next to others, but here's a shot of the new wave:
So yeah, the droid does look taller, but it's not ridiculously far off. It should be around up to Dooku's elbow but it will probably come up to his shoulder.

I just bought the whole "lost line" wave (some on Vintage, some on those cards, and both versions of Jar Jar and the Shock Trooper) at Kmart, along with the AT-ST redeco, and my raging nerd boner is still going strong. Yeah. God damn, a vintage-carded Jar Jar is a beautiful sight.
