We've pretty much scratched Smith off the duty roster of greatest film ever. I would hire Michael Bay as my 2nd Unit Director so he could blow up a ton of shit without ever interacting with the cast.

And also, too much midget. Just a smattering of midget. Mostly ninjas and sex.
Well, I did say modern remake, so we can replace most of the midgets with Naked Ninja Lesbians. The NNL could do battle with an army of Amazon warriors. Then, the NNL and Amazons unite behind Halle Berry in her Storm get-up to battle a Super-Sentinal that looks like IG-88 and his army of mutants that pilot gun pods from Matrix 3. After the battle, their victory party would put the the Ewok celebration to shame.

I'm looking at the Jell-O and baby oil receipt right now. It's astronomical.

In order to do the victory party scene justice, it will have to be at least 2 hours long.

Hello QOTD, nice to see you again. 8)

Where am I on this screenplay you ask? Well, since you ask, I have not started it. But I am researching it. Every night in bed, I vigorously research hot topless chick ninjas with my right hand. Then i fall asleep.

So, the movie is coming along VERY nicely...

Ha. Given the career trajectories of Singer and Spacey, this didn’t age well.
Runner-up would be a PJ-directed Hobbit, followed by a good Green Lantern movie.
Ha part 2. Be careful what you wish for.

It’s weird to think that one shitty GL movie made the property toxic to WB for almost two decades.

In a recent Q&A, Ryan Reynolds said they had too much time and money when making Green Lantern. They were too many people involved, and they tried fixing everything with CGI instead of through writing. It was they logic they used to use when making movies.

It is also funny that quote mentions the Hobbit. Supposedly Amazon is considering remaking the LOTR movies.
