Yeah, there is that linguist school in Monterrey, CA that has been pumping out translators. I thought there were a whole slew of them at CENTAF HQ in Florida.

Amazon's recommendation system is screwy. There is a box somewhere that you can check that says something like "don't use this item for recommendations". For a while it kept recommending all sorts of SW POTF2 and EP1 figures. I don't know why because I never bought Star Wars figures from Amazon.

I wouldn't mind it using Johnny Cash for recommendations, but I don't know how many people really listen to the "old dead guys and dudes in their 80s" sort of country and the bullshit that is played on the radio nowadays.

Back to an earlier point in here: I got an e-mail telling me that, as someone who's shown interest in Peter Gabriel in the past, I might like to know about their "great Peter Gabriel sale."

Over a year ago, I clicked on his album because their stupid Gold Box setup often lists an album without any indication as to who it's from.

And, yet, they can never tell me when a new John Hiatt album is coming out, despite my ordering most of his albums that I have from Amazon because no one else carries the damned things.

In 1983 (or at least when the Holiday video came out) I used to try and look down her top by staring at the TV from above. Sadly it didn't work.
