The new Big Bad Toy Store email has a new 3.75" Endor Bunker set with the Rebel in Biker Scout disguise. Kind of cool, but not for $62.
I just looked at it. Is that it? Its just…the door? For $62?
Didn’t they do something similar back in the PotF days for like…$12??

A door and a figure. So...$15 for the figure and $47 for the door?
I think the POTF one may have had a missile launcher or something. I got a ton of POTF stuff when KB Toys had everything on clearance, but never bought any of the mini-playsets. The other one was the Death Star Bridge for Luke and Leia's swing.

They've gotten so pricey, even I'm bowing out for the most part.
I do have to applaud them on giving the figure a generic name and slightly altering the paint applications so he can be Nik or Rex.

What's with the rainbow retro prototype Luke Skywalker pilot figure?
The vintage carded 6" Boba Fett at Target looks pretty cool, but not for the price.

They have done 3 or 4 of those multicolored prototype looking ones over the past couple of years. They show up at TRU in Canada. I broke down & bought the Fett - oversized Skiff card? Wasn't able to say no. $50 up here.

Ok. I hadn't seen any of the multicolored figures, and I didn't have my glasses with me to read the back. There were a few different color combos.
I don't have any other 6" figures, and I really don't want to start.
I think R2 and Boba Fett were my first 2 POTF2 figures way back in 1995. My wife (then girlfriend) might have bought me one of them. Ended up making long term commitments to both the chick and the toy line. Still married to her, but don't really buy the toys anymore.

You’d think they would do evergreen offerings for the main characters in the 6” line. I don’t need Blorbo, the guy that was in seventeen frames of that one movie, or a thousand different Clone Trooper variants. But it’d be nice to have Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, the Droids, and Obi-Wan without shelling out $50+ for each of them.
PS the carded 6” Leia on the retro card looks atrocious. Like monkey-face Leia bad. Was the original 6” version of her that shitty?

Hoth Leia? Or the A New Hope version? I quite like the Hoth Leia figure.

Classic versions of Chewie and Threepio both have current rereleases in the Archive series.

It was ANH Leia in her classic white outfit with the buns.
I was…unimpressed. There are more reference photos for that movie than all the other movies in the history of film. Your Carrie Fisher head sculpt shouldn’t look like butt.

Yeah, ANH Archive Leia wasn't great, but Boushh Leia is fanatic. It's got a fantastic face sculpt.

I think they actually re-did ANH Leia's face with the photo-real tech - but that vintage carded one should have been the good one... i'm looking it up.

After all this time, Hasbro still can't get cloth robes to look right on 3.75" figures.

Calling that a “throne room” is a stretch. It’s a chair. With a piece of paper behind it.

I have the chair from the old POTF2 battle pack. Pretty sure I can make a similar window with minimal effort.
