Getting old, so the hauls aren't as great, but I'm less picky.
My wife got me a Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt. (Old style--they were an excellent rock band before the plane crash, but the fucktards who use the name since are a mediocre country garage band. I refuse to think I'm wearing a mediocre country band's shirt.)
My daughter got me a JLA shirt with an old cover (forget the number--it's a group montage). And the Surfing (Adam West) Batman figure.
My son got me popcorn, because he's three and picked out his presents himself.
My MIL and FIL both got me cash. The greatest gift of all, especially since she usually does weird shit like silverware we don't need or a shop vacuum.
One BIL got me a B&N gift card. (It's been Amazon every other year. Don't want to complain, but who goes to B&N anymore? I appreciate it and I'll use it anyway, but it's less useful on comics since I have this weird mentality that I spend gift cards same as cash and anally compare prices, and B&N never comes out on top. Maybe I'll wait until Twain's second autobiography gets remaindered.)
Another BIL (and SIL) got me a Superman tank top and briefs. One of those "not technically a gag gift" things, but, y'know, when would I wear them in public?
Third BIL got me a G.I.Joe shirt. It's awesome, don't get me wrong, but it's clearly designed by a non-fan who was told to make a montage of vintage card art and be sure to include Roadblock, Duke, and Snake Eyes. Duke's dead center, with Roadblock on his right, followed by Snake Eyes... Version 3, my personal favorite, but the uniform no one remembers. On Duke's left are Lt. Falcon and Barbecue, I'm guessing because Falcon looks kinda like Flint and Barbecue looks a lot cooler than he is.
Niece got me Jagermeister. Because she's 21 and kinda dumb and everyone got coffee or alcohol. Not a big Jagermeister guy, not even sure I've ever owned a bottle of my own, but, hey, liquor's liquor.
The latest Fables came in the mail on Christmas Eve. My gift to myself.
Stuff the kids and wife got that isn't mine but I can benefit from:
Wii Lego Harry Potter II
Wii Lego Lord of the Rings
Wii Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (completing the set!)
Wii Princes & the Frog (not anticipating this to be one I play a lot)
four assorted bottles of Stella Rosa
the Downton Abbey score CD (which my son found, still sealed, at a thrift store for a buck)
the Frozen soundtrack
the second two Disney's Greatest Hits CDs
Planes Blu-Ray
two cookbooks
