So, today, here in Iowa, they are lifting what were already pretty lax distancing protocols and allowing restaurants, gyms, barbers, etc to reopen.

Or as what I like to call it, The Official First Day of the Second Wave.

I believe people have a better understanding of how the virus spreads & will govern themselves accordingly in a lot of cases. Too bad so many fuckwits are completely brain dead & won't - I hope they're the ones that suffer the worst effects of the illness honestly.

Hey remember last week when the ‘Rona was a thing that was happening?

Now it’s all Race Riots, Looting, and everybody posting videos of cops macing children, shooting people in their own homes, and knocking down old men with canes.

Society has ADHD.

And now Davenport has issued a ‘stay at home’ curfew because there was a bunch of lazy half-assed attempts at looting Target, Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart and other local businesses. Some dude got shot outside a Jewelry store. This is not the city I would expect that kind of shit in.

I expected better of this city.

We have a 7pm curfew yesterday and today.

I'm glad I'm nowhere near civilization right now.

They put a countywide curfew in effect for all of Riverside.

It's about 60% rural, I'd guess. Very spread out, bigger than some states. And only a few relatively minor cases of looting (the nearby city of San Bernardino apparently got hit hard, but Riverside seems comparatively sane).

But this same county refused to enforce any stay-at-home orders.

What if the soldiers & rednecks start shooting each other at the Michigan capital? It will be like an Image comic come to life.
