Latest on the Star Wars television show

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

The possible second animated show is rumored to be a Galactic Heroes type show similar to the Superhero Squad show on CW. I think it could work in that style with two 15 minute segments (1 for each trilogy).
Senor JabbaJohnL wrote:As to live-action, I think part of it is that he got more involved with TCW than he originally planned, and was also doing Indy 4, and a bit on Red Tails. I wonder if both TCW and the live-action show will be on in the same time period, or they'll wait for TCW to finish (whenever that is) before moving on?
Shit, Clone Wars will probably be done by the time the live-action show debuts. It was originally supposed to premiere in 2008 or 2009.

I have to admit, the trailer for the season finale does not look like shit. It actually looks fairly decent; it even looks like they worked with some of the crappy character designs to make them "work" better.

It only took them two full seasons and a theatrical film, but they finally got something that doesn't (at least from a visual standpoint) make me weep over the future of animation. Keep reaching for that rainbow, fellas!

Coming from you, that's high praise. :P But the animation on that clip doesn't really look different from anything else in the second season, so I'm not sure quite what you mean.

So, uh . . . how 'bout that comedy cartoon in the works? It sounds absolutely fucking horrible, and it's annoying that they announce this thing that nobody was asking for before they even release one nugget of information on the live-action show. Sigh. The creative team sounds half great and half shitty, and I really have no idea how it will work in this universe.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Unless they adapt the tale of Frassk, not very long. It sounds like it could be funny for about two weeks.
