I read it somewhere they’ve still got about three months worth of shooting to do.

I got the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine today. I was eligible because Nevada is allowing people who work in construction of utilities and wastewater to get it. So far my arm is just a little sore. I get the next shot in 3 weeks.

Very glad to hear that. You guys are doing much better with the vaccination than we are up here. My grandma in her 90s has had it, but my folks who are mid 70s have not. Ugh.

My parents got both doses. My in-laws got their first. Distribution varies not only by state, but by county.

Got my 2nd vaccine shot yesterday. Mild headache and a little tired.

They expanded eligibility late last night, effective today, in several counties to everyone over 16. I was able to get in this morning and get my first Moderna shot.

I had my second Pfizer shot last Tuesday and had no side effects!

I kind of feel like shit today. Nothing incapacitating, just headache, general ache, and fatigue. Minor shortness of breath. Yesterday my arm felt... the best way to describe it is to say it felt like it wasn't my arm.

Still, I figure this will last a day or two, and I'd prefer it to, you know, dying a painful death.

I saw a few fb posts from someone I didn't recognize yesterday.

Hopefully gone in a day or 2 Chux. Yuck.

Holy shit, you win the internet forever!

i didn't have any side-effects with the first dose of Pfizer/BioNtech, not even a sore arm. my second dose from yesterday, my arm hurts like hell. i had trouble sleeping last night, mainly due to the pain, so i'm not sure if what i'm feeling today is just major lack of sleep, or some side-effects.

we also adopted two new kittens earlier this week, so the build-up of lack of sleep due to nighttime playfulness isn't helping. but the cuddles and cuteness do blunt the effects slightly.

My wife and older daughter got the Moderna vaccine on Wed. Both of their arms hurt. My wife had trouble lifting her arm past her shoulder.

2021-04-14 (Wednesday)

1555hrs - In line for vaccine. Advised by lady at gate drive through service time will be approximately 1 hour. Lady nice.

1614hrs - still in line.

1622hrs - still in line.

1628hrs - still in line.

1637hrs - still in line.

1655hrs (approx) - received dose 1 of Pfizer covid vaccine from lady wearing mask. Lady nice, but rolled eyes at joke about me being surprised she was able to penetrate my unbelievably dense muscle with needle.

1714hrs - departed vaccination area. No ill effects noted.

1725hrs (approx) - home. Weiner same size as before.

1750hrs - weiner same size.

1830hrs - weiner same size? Weiner same size.

1855hrs - weiner same size. Began to wonder whether or not I've been lied to.
