He's awesome and so are many of his movies:

The Bourne Identity - Didn't realize he was in it until I rewatched it before seeing The Bourne Ultimatum.
King Arthur - Underrated, realistic take on a boring legend.
Closer - Natalie Portman plays a stripper.
Sin City - Like I need to type anything about this one...
Derailed - Great performance, so-so movie.
Inside Man - Great movie, despite being a Spike Lee joint.
Children of Men - Awesomeness.
Shoot 'Em Up - Haven't see it yet, but it looked like a lot of fun, mindless, over the top action.

Sounds like someone has a little man-crush.

You consider the Arthurian legends to be "boring"? Seriously? I know some of the takes on the story have been hella dry, but the story is one of the greatest ever told in English.

He was a badass in Sin City. Hope he comes back as Dwight for the second one.

I've never actually studied it thoroughly or amything, but I always picture the horrible Disney version (which I fund very boring) when I think of it.

The Disney movie? You mean "The Sword in the Stone"? Where Arthur turns into a fucking fish?

Probably - could have been some other animated version - can't remember for sure - it was too retarded and boring.

Okay, if that's your only exposure, then I can see where you're coming from. That's one of Disney's low points. Kinda like their extremely fucked up version of The Book of Three (which they fucked up badly enough to call it The Black Cauldron, even though it took very little from that book).

It's a really, REALLY good story, albeit with about fifty or so major variations.

For early Clive Owen awesomeness, check out his "Driver" short films made specifically for BMW, each one directed by a big name director. They're about 5-10 minutes long each, but he's badass in them.

Oh, this movie is great for the action, plot is there because it needs one. 90 minutes and a body count of about 200-300 is great.

Clive Owen is a Dreamboat.

His best line is in Closer when he asks NatPo, "How does your cunt taste?"

Great line indeed! I've only seen that movie once, definitely need to watch it again, even though he is a complete prick in that movie.

But yeah, Clive Owen is a fucking badass!

I think he was at his badass peak in "Sin City". I really wish he was cast as Harvey Dent in "The Dark Knight".

Got around to watching Shoot 'Em Up last night. The movie was good fun, and Owen was a badass (what else is new?).

Word, it isnt Oscar winning and its a good Shoot em up(pun intended) movie. It lives up to its name, even if they called it 20 ways to kill you with a carrot, it would live up to the name
