Is there a way that I can do something on my computer and destroy all the Flash objects on the internet so no one ever has to deal with them again?

I don't want to avoid them.

I want to destroy them.

They are an evil, evil invention, and no one should be subjected to them again.

If you are using Firefox, there is an ad blocker that works great. For example, I went to the other site, and the top and side banners are gone. It blocks flash ads too as far as I can tell because I never see them.

I'm mainly referring to pages that don't operate without Flash. Flash just annoys me. It can do cool things, but there are so many things it's used for that are useless. Like viewing sales ads: does it add anything to show me shitty animation of the page flipping?

The Ad Blocker does a pretty good job filtering website content-flash from ad flash. One hockey site I go to is mostly news and a message board, but has some horrible pop-up flash ads when I go there using explorer. I don't even see them when I use firefox. I think "Ad blocker plus" is the exact name and it is on firefox's website.
