My kid yesterday rebooted my home PC and now it is stuck in a constant loop of rebooting. It will pull up the main screen saying windows XP and the bars go across it. Then it will go to the scan disk and run that, after that it flashes and reboots again. I tired rebooting in safe mode, but the same thing happens. I also tried booting from the disk and the same thing happens. Any help would be sweet.

weird. i guess since you said you tried booting from a CD that you've already tried to get into bios and see if anything's amiss... can you halt the disk scan?

I can stop it, but it reboots. I tried booting from the disk and it didnt work, butI will go into Bios and set it to boot from disk. If that doesnt worked, I am F-U-C-K-E-D.
