i've lived this day before

Post by vynsane »

okay, so i've had deja vu in the past, and it's always unsettling in a really cool "we have more power in our minds and hearts than we know" type of way... but i can't recall ever having deja vu TWICE in the same day. that said, i had a DV experience on the train this morning, as well as in the middle of the day at work - the second part is especially wonky, because it was expressly while doing something that i COULDN'T POSSIBLY HAVE DONE EVER BEFORE, as i was editing links to a testbed website that was JUST SETUP the other day, and to which i never even ventured before, as i wasn't integral to the setup of it UNTIL TODAY.

so it's obvious that i've simply lived this day over again somehow. perhaps i'm in some sort of groundhog day event.

Go find a hot chick at the local diner and ask her personal questions. Tomorrow, use the info to approach her. If she says, "Dumbass, you just asked me that yesterday," then you're not repeating your day.

i might have already done that and ruined my marriage. as a result i'm reliving the day again to see if i can get it right. so no, not going to do that.

this is the way my mind has been racing all day. my wife asked me to get the early train (need to leave work a bit early to catch it, so i usually don't) today - and i thought "what if that's what i do wrong that makes me relive the day? maybe i shouldn't catch the train. but now that i've thought that, what if THAT'S the wrong thing to do that makes me relive the day..."

yeah. am i insane now? is this what it feels like? i don't feel that different...
