Anyone care to watch this? It's being advertised as the latest vehicle for Beyonce "No Talent" Whatsherlastname.

However, I just found out it's actually about Chess Records in the 1950s-60s, and stars Adrien Brody as Leonard Chess, as well as Mos Def as Chuck Berry and some other dude as the great Muddy Waters. Also Cedric the Entertainer in another postmortem role as Willie Dixon (which sounds like some really amazingly dead-on casting).

I have a feeling I'll be checking it out, even if I have to wait for the DVD.

Cedric the Entertainer ain't dead. You're thinking of Bernie Mac.

Cedric is actually dead, but no one knows it yet. Even himself.

(Okay, my bad.)

I think Beyonce would make an excellent intern if you know what I'm saying...

Word to your mother.
