I am getting a conflict with my Norton anti-virus in which it wont enable. I have the little yellow circle with exclamation point in it over the icon in the lower right task/tool bar. My Zone alarm will not load up either. I have uninstalled Zone Alarm and re-installed it and have the same issue in which it wont load up. I have attempted to delete Norton to reinstall and it wont, keep getting a fatal error in installation message and it wil not re-install.
I have ran spyware, ad-ware removers, also defragged the computer. I tried to run a virus scan, but it wont, because of the situation. Any help here would be appreciated.

i don't really know, seeing as how i have never ran any commercial anti-virus software. ever.
just browse and email smart. you'll never be susceptible to viruses if you don't let them in.
on a side note, just in case, i do have adaware and spybot search & destroy installed. i also use "hijack this" but that's for extreme cases of IE6 letting crap in. haven't needed it since i stopped using IE.
