News and information websites
Is there any news and/or information websites that aren't biased? I'm doing a project on the Kyoto Protocol for school and most of what I've found has been either too far left or right for me to use.
Re: News and information websites
I did a quick search at cbc.ca and a number of results popped up. I'm sure it has a bias, but its a non-American bias, which is totally different, IMO.

I'm going to take that as a challange to use "the onion" as a source for a school project. Not sure if it can be done, but I'll try.vynsane wrote:i don't know, i just read "the onion".

Re: News and information websites
There was an article in the paper a few months ago about the increasing number of people getting their news from sources like 'The Onion' and John Stewart's Daily Show and places like that instead of "traditional" news outlets and how it was affecting perception because most people aren't cognizant that the "news" being relayed is slanted for humorous effect.

Re: News and information websites
There was a rumor going around that the Newsbot is a fraud. The real Newsbot was supposedly never reprogrammed and is locked up somewhere. The guy telling me about this went on blabbing something about it being an elaborate conspiracy against the people, played some creepy sci-fi music and left with a semi-hot red headed doctor chick in a brown sedan with government license plates. But, I'm sure it is just a rumor.

Wow, that sounds alot like X-Files. Except the part about the semi-hot red headed doctor chick. X-Files only had eternally fugly Gillian Anderson with her bug eyes and pasty complexion.Rogue II wrote:There was a rumor going around that the Newsbot is a fraud.
