I was in the Circus!

I can now check 'be part of Ringling Bros.Barnum & Bailey Circus' off my list of lifegoals.
The circus was in town over Labor Day and my younger sister's(she's 25) birthday wish was to go like when we were kids, so my mom, sister, me and my two little ones went Saturday night.
About halfway thru the performance one of the Ringmasters came over in the dark while the spotlight was focused on some dogs jumping over chicks bent over over backwards and asked if my daughter and I would like to be in the show. They pulled us aside, along with two other parent/child couples, and put the kids in magician robes and brought them center ring and introduced them with great flourish. Then they came over to where we the parents were on these platforms. They raised their hands and wiggled their fingers and said the magic words and I was levitating! Then they passed a big white hoop around me. Magic. Afterwards we all got down and held hand and gave big circusy bows.

It was a very cool and unique experience to share with my daughter. Nothing that cool ever happened to me when I was a kid that's for damn sure.
