Wondering if you had seen the cover art for the Blu Ray release of the Star Wars saga? Although I'm not thrilled with the artwork I am glad to see your image is on it. 6.1 audio and HD should make your podracing sequence a great sequence to watch! I am hoping they do replace the Yoda puppet with the CG version.

What are your thoughts about this release?

Not too bad... I think everyone should get a pretty good kick out of it. I'll miss the puppet of Yoda though... For the same reasons I liked moon's special effects...

I don't know how much info he'd have on the set, but having him offhandedly mention CGI Yoda when someone already brought it up doesn't mean we should all start going bananas that they're changing everything again.

Yes and no.
It will get done eventually, but they've shelved for the time being since it would be far too expensive to do right now.

Dumb thing is, it seems it's Lucasfilm that doesn't believe in the potential. I'm sure the network execs would blow their own fathers on live TV to get the Star Wars show.

Saw this elsewhere and figured it was funny- yet another change on the Blu-Ray

What would make that even funnier is if we then cut back to the surface of Alderaan and Jimmy Smits is in a room with a bunch of techs and people an he's standing next to a guy at a console and he's all "FUCKITALL!!" and slaps the guy on the back of the head. "Youuu MISSED!!!" Then he kicks a the side of the console or a mousedroid or something. And the guy gives him a 'it moved, what do you want me to do?' look. Then everybody looks up with a face all at the same time.

Then you cut back to the DS firing.
