Buffalo Rumblings from SB Nation already posted an article about the top QBs in next year's draft class. Even for the Bills, that might be a record for giving up on the season. They still aren't going to out suck the Jets this year.

Matthew Stafford is now the highest paid player in the NFL. 5 year $135M deal with $92M guaranteed. It's $27M per year, which is $2M more than the next highest.

I was a little cagey when Detroit inaugurated their season with a pick six right off the bat, but they recovered nicely.

The Bills have sole possession of first place in the AFC East. I don't even remember the last time anyone could say that. It most likely ends next week. They play Carolina.

I ended up with Stafford as my backup QB on one of my fantasy teams. Matt Ryan is my starter, so I'm only counting on Stafford for one game. Even with the pick-6, he would have gave me 17.75 points today.

Under Caldwell and JimBob, Stafford has really flourished as a QB. He hasn't been the problem with the team the last few years. It's the weak-ass O-line not giving him the time to make plays, and the general mediocrity of the defense. Also, no quality RB last year with Abdullah being gone.
Stafford actually breaks records every time he throws the ball. Fastest QB to reach XX amount of yards and XX completions, and other assorted records. He's basically breaking his own record each time.

Lions play the Giants next week. If they could sit OBJr for another game, that'd be super. Cowboys walked all over them last night and now they're gonna be salty next week and take it out on Detroit.
