The year in review. Alot of...stuff came out this year. Some good, some bad, some great. I'll start off with the great, get your feedback, and then move on to the horrid.
Top 5
5. Kill Bill Vol I. QT came back with a vengeance this year. A rollicking bloodbath of fun whets the appetite for the Finale in February. Japanese schoolgirls kicking ass, interwoven Anime, Sonny Chiba...this thing is so cool, it became uncool and then went back around and ended up being cool again. And that gunshot. I nearly shat myself. Awesome.
4. Love Actually. This latecomer actually bumped Finding Nemo from the list. Brilliant interweaving of several stories and a stellar cast made this a shoo in . I was happily suprised. And it can be watched over and over again every year, since its sort of a Christmas film. : ) Wonderful.
3. X2. A fanboy's wet dream jumps off the page. I cant go on enough how cool this film was. Wolvie berserking it thru the mansion. Collusus. The Blueberry muffin! Comic book movies rock! And this one rocked hard.
2. Pirates! "Welcome to the Carribean, Love!" Take one lame Disney theme ride + Jerry Bruckheimer = Disaster. Oh so you'd think. It turns out Depp's brilliant Jack Sparrow, Orlando's dashing young buck, Kiera's mega watt hotness, and a bit of authenticity reserch mixed with tongue in cheek humor, leads to outstanding cinematic fun. Savvy?
One...ring to rule them all. I think Return of the King was on my list since January, but it exceeded even my expectations. Okay seriously, if PJ and the rest of the gang don't sweep the Oscars, then I shall hunt down every academy member and kick them in their...member. Enough chatter...I must go witness the splendor again! Good bye.

I haven't seen Love Actually, but I did like the rest of these movies. Unfortunately, I didn't see a whole heck of a lot else. I was happy with the 2nd Matrix Movie, and really enjoyed the Hulk as well. The third Matrix Movie disappointed me a little, but not enough to consider it a "worst" of type movie. I don't tend to go see stinkers, so I'm having to think pretty hard for a shit list.
