And the saddest part is that just because you buy a shit hot character doesn't even mean you're gonna be good. If you're brand new to the game and you don't know how to use the character then you're still fucked.

I had a friend that would make money on the side selling characters on eBay. He was done playing the game (for missions and such) and only turned it on to level up so he could sell his characters. He'd sell an average of about one per month and he'd get around $400-$500 for a minimal amount of time and effort.

Not a bad deal. I understand that if you buy the last expansion you can start a certain type of character at lvl 55 (WAY higher than I'm at right now), but that it takes a long time to level them up. The thing about the game though, once you know the tricks to certain missions or have high level friends that will help you finish tasks WAY above your pay grade, you can make it happen fast.

So today they're doing massive maintenance on the game and it's been down since i woke up. The wife is at work, so I'm sitting here feeling like today's been a total waste, even though I shoveled, dealt with the garbage/recycling, took the kids & dog for a nice long play & walk outside in the snow and made lunch. A total waste I tell ya.

What's sad is that some of the guys in my shop were bitching that it was down for them yesterday. One guy said that he had 8 hours dedicated to playing it and them doing maintenance "wasted his time".

I want to fucking buy Blizzard and do constant maintenance on the game, then . . .

Batman made my barfy to be honest, something about the way the camera moved - not sure - but I got that slight vertigo from it that certain games (Turok 3d for n64 was the worst) give me.

When I quit, I literally gave away all my earthly (Azerothly anyhow) possessions. Equipment, money - almost all gone. I figured that would prevent me from even wanting to go there, but I'm actually theorizing how I might best get replacement shit & get back on the path to riches....
