Damn, I thought we had all the HBO shit covered in here. I watched the first season of this show, and liked it quite a bit (more toward the end). Season 2 is just underway. Anyone else check this out?

Hmmmm, done after season 2 eh? That does blow. I haven't been able to find the first ep yet, but I'm hoping it's up soon for public viewing.

So HBO is losing the Sopranos and likely Curb because the creators want them to go out on top. Logically, they cancel Deadwood and Rome.

Hmmmm.... that does not seem to make much sense.

Deadwood was more of the creator guy getting burned out and deciding to wrap it up with a bunch of two hour movies ( 3 or 4, I think) at his leisure.

Not sure what the deal with Rome is though.

Rome costs too much per episode they say, way over 1 million dollars. So they cant afford to keep it going. Jackasses.

No question, but from what I heard they are doing a 2nd Band of Brothers and Milch has a new series coming out as well.

The Wire is still up and running, is it not? Someone told me it makes the other shows look like shit by comparison - yet I can't seem to win an ebay auction for the boxed sets, or download any episodes. Piss me off.

After watching last night's episode, I think The Grin may be related to Marc Anthony. In one scene, as Augustus was leaving the room, Marc Anthony says "But I am still the one fucking your mother!"
