Just when you thought QT was off the cool radar he bursts back on the scene with this wicked blood fest!

I nearly jumped out of my seat when that gunshot ends the opening sequence. "My lover shot me down. Bang bang..."

The Japanimation sequence was killer. And then gets topped by a live action blood letting in the samurai showdown at the end. So many gallons of blood, they had to go B/W to avoid people hurling up their popcorn.

Holy shit! Tarantino redeems himself for fucking off for the last 5 years since Jackie Brown. Vol. II hits early next year. Too fucking sweet!

PS Sonny Chiba? Man, that is too funny. Remember Clarence Worley's fetish with Chiba in the QT scripted True Romance?

that whole first scene with chiba was great...

holy crap, this movie kicked ass. i have been listening to the soundtrack all day at work, and it just makes me want to see it again...

I was wondering if the sheriff that finds The Bride is the same character in From Dusk Til Dawn. Since y'know, the massacre happened "in the past" he could have been shot later on at the gas station...

I say that only because it's the same actor playing the smarmy cop role he was destined to be typecast by Tarantino in.

As it turns, out the Texas Ranger in FDTD is different from the Sheriff in KB.

But this movie still kicks ass like an oak tree timber log in the balls.
