I remember that song from back when I watched Sesame Street, though I don't know if it was the Oscar version or the Aerosmith version. Though this one does seem vaguely familiar . . .

in the "related vids" there's a couple of genuine renditions- one of them is from like 69 back when oscar was still orange and looked more like cookie monster (those confused the fuck outta me when I was a kid, one ay he was green, one day he was Orange and Gordon looked TOTALLY different)

I have spent quite a bit of time watching segments- there's a great one with Morgan Freeman doing some wacky rap/tune from the early 70's that good fun

yeah I caught some clips with the "softer" count and it kinda freaked me out- there's some good classic bits of his on youtube as well tho

I can't believe how entertaining it still is, the classic stuff, SO well made

OH and I wonder how many folks laughed themselves half to death by sneaking in "rusty trombone" to a kids show, that's too much
