i heard Chuck Norris had to ask Chuck Connors' permission to call himself Chuck. permission was granted on the condition that Connors could have relations with Norris' wife once per year at any time without any advance warning. it usually occurred during the Norris' annual Christmas party, on the coffee table in the den, which was one of the most popular gathering places during the event.

Chuck Connors' distinct jawline was the inspiration for Jack Kirby's style of art. Thus making Chuck Connors the inspiration for the entire Marvel Universe.
Chuck Connors also inspired Stan Lee to come up with the phrase "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility" after he witnessed Connors merely walking down the street.
The Hulk, however, was still inspired by Kris Kristofferson. After Kris shagged Stan's wife and she bragged about his prowess at the breakfast table every day for the next eighteen months. (Reed Richards? Also inspired by Kris. C'mon. Mr. Fantastic? Stretches to amazing lengths? That's an obvious Kris homage...)
